Lazy Day

Even though I folded close to 5 baskets of laundry, played at the park (with the kids, of course), have already showered for the day, and have finished reading with the kiddo's, I still feel less than productive. Maybe it's the general disarray of the house, but something is causing me to feel down right lazy!

Oh did I forget to mention that the kids played (or watched people play) the DS the entire time I folded laundry? They sure enjoy that little gadget. I think I need to invest in some more educational games. My mom said they have a Reader Rabbit game, but I've yet to find it (it's not at Target or Walmart).

Miles decided to spend his time perusing the bookshelves for some light reading.

And Porter had a great time jazzing up his Lego camera Nana got him for Christmas. It didn't take him long to realize that putting a Lego soldier in front of the lens might not make for the best pictures.

Don't feel too sorry for him, he actually plays it quite a bit. He sits there shooting and saying things like "I killed him" and "He's dead". You would think a game like Mario would be pretty harmless!
Bennett is really loving playing with the View Master toys. But unfortunately we only have two slides for it, and one of them is mostly broken. I was thinking about getting him some more, but they are so stinking expensive, when I had the greatest idea. What if you could make homemade View Master slides using pictures of your kids? I've decided to look into it and see what I can figure out (in the mean time, I might break down and get the little guy a few).

Okay, you know how I feel about spending money you don't really have BUT if it causes you to blog like this, I say, "KEEP THE CAMERA!" Thanks for the updates and the kids look great. I love and miss you guys.
