A beautiful spring day

After my ranting about yesterday I though I should post something a little more upbeat. Today's been pretty great (maybe because my expectations were pretty low). It's beautiful outside and we've been loving it.
Doesn't the sky peaking through this crab apple tree kinda look like a heart. It was a happy accident, but I guess I was feeling so happy being outside I couldn't help but to capture the sappy loveliness.

Our neighbor Chloe is the greatest girl. She is always so fun with the kids. She plays with them and actually seems to enjoy it (imagine that). She's the one who let them use her pogo stick, she plays hide and seek, kick ball, freeze tag, red rover, and all kinds of other fun games. I love that girl.

I also love this guy. Check out that cute little chubby baby.

Bennett wanted his shoes off, oh and I put his hair in a pony tail for fun, but then he wouldn't let me take it out. I'm sure people thought I was crazy.

I can see this tree from my kitchen window. I guess if you HAVE to watch dishes you might as well have a view like this to look at!

The other great thing about this area is that it's is ringed with lilac bushes. The smell is heavenly.

Porter kept putting hats on Miles, I think the one of him in the yellow one is HILARIOUS!

Of course Maya found a little friend. Luckily her face is blurred in the background because it's covered in strawberry cream cheese.

Maya thinks she is a baby jaguar lying in the tree.

Porter is an injured Jaguar and can't even get onto the branch.

He finally made it up to the high ground. Survival of the fittest.

Hi Amanda,
I have to confess that I haven't been keeping up with your blog very well. But I got a chance to check it out today and it reminded me of what an awesome family you have. Your children are beautiful---and growing so much! You take beautiful photographs and have such a great outlook at raising kids that I've always admired. I will definitely try harder to keep up with your fun blog. :)

So, I liked your last post-it reminded me of myself. I'm glad that you are feeling happier now though. Remember in Philadelphia those trees across from the apartment complex that had such pretty pink flower balls in the spring? loved them!
