A little of this, and a little of that...

Ok, so the Alton Brown thing was a joke. Casey's cousin's husband looks just like him, and we though it would be funny to post pictures (just to see who would believe us). Anyway, now that I have that off my chest, on with the update. Last weekend Peggy, Malerie, Miles and I drove (12 hours) to Utah so we could see the newest little Elmer. He was so sweet and we had a great visit. The day after we got back to Washington my Granny passed away, so Miles and I are in Indiana right now visiting my family. It was nice to be here for the funeral (even though I missed my 10 year wedding anniversary). It's been fun to see everyone, but we miss Casey, Porter, Maya, and Bennett. Here are a few pictures from out trip. Miles couldn't figure out how to use the binki to save his life, silly baby.

This is the house my Gran lived in when I was growing up. Every summer we visited this house, and played with the neighbourhood kids. Every Christmas we gathered here and had so much fun spending the holiday together. While my Dad was in Desert Storm we lived here for a year along with my Uncle Bobby and his son Robby. We were all pretty sad when (12 years ago) she decided to sell the house and moved into a little trailer, but she LOVED her trailer!

Finally, it's good to know you're alive and that Miles is as confused as ever about binkis. At first I thought you typoed and wrote Bikini and I thought, what is Miles doing with a Bikini. love ya and see you soon. I'm sad we missed our anniversary, but hopefully you're having a great time with the Porters.

Sorry to hear about your grandma Amanda. We miss you and I can't believe that how tall Miles is getting. Him and Lela would be such great little pals.
