Rexburg Idaho

While Miles and I were at my parents house Casey and the kids went to Rexburg to visit with Rob and Brisa, and Dan and Angela (and baby Calvin - Bennett was telling me about Calvin, but instead of saying Calvin he called him 'baby cowboy'). They did a lot of fun things and I'm sad I wasn't there, but I got to feel involved by looking at these pictures...
THE SAND DUNES

They got the van stuck in the sand, but luckily Dan and Peggy were able to combine their strength and maneuver that machine out of there. Casey said the sand dunes were fun, but it was so windy they kept getting sand in their eyes. They each figured out a way to protect themselves.

Maya implemented the Arab method

Benny used what he had on hand (unfortunately it WAS his hand and it was so sandy it may have just made it worse)

and Porter decided to take a lesson from the headless horseman and tuck his entire head into his shirt.

BIG JUDS

I'm really sad I missed out on this place. I love their giant burgers and Maya the Meat-atarian seemed to love it also. Interesting fact...If you finish the whole burger you get your picture posted on the wall. I ate the whole thing while I was in college and got my picture posted, but before leaving Rexburg I stole the picture off the wall. Maybe I'll scan it and post that picture sometime...

HOT SPRINGS

The kids each made a fishing pole from a stick and some string, and as a hook they tied nails to the end, surprisingly enough nobody caught a single thing.

I am so impressed with the quality of your photographs. Of course, you have great subject matter; but, the clarity, color and definition in the photos is impressive.

This post made me miss you guys. I think I need to come to Spokane soon.

I'm a hundred percent positive that, that burger was bigger than Maya's head. Whose idea was that?
