My New LOVE!!!

I can't believe I didn't write about this earilier, but I'm absolutley addicted to Zumba. I sweat more than anyone else in the class and always come out soaking wet. I hum the songs and imagine the routines in my mind. I purchase the songs I can find on I-Tunes (it's hard to find them because a lot of them are in spanish). I know, I'm pathetic, but I'm having fun!

Birthday Cake Tasting

A few weeks ago Aunt Malerie asked if she could make the cake for Miles 1st birthday. She had a cute idea of making a rainbow cake. I was so happy she did it, and it turned out so great. She make a big (three layer) cake for everyone and Miles got his own single layer to demolish. Needless to say he was in heaven (even though Bennett climbed up on the counter when no one was looking and dug in before Miles got a chance).


I was so surprised by the amount of cake this kid put away. He was LOVING it!

He crammed the cake in as fast as he could. I think he was afraid we might notice what a disastrous mess he was making and take it away from him.

I mean really, can you blame him? Sometimes I see cake and want to do the exact same thing, even Maya couldn't resist giving the "Cake face plant" a try. We're debating changing Miles name to Bruce Boggtrotter (yes that's a Matilda reference).
